Nature Coast Landings Welcomes Renters
Here at Nature Coast Landings, Renters are VIG – Very Important Guests! We value your business and your comments. We are listening and striving to make improvements that will encourage our VIGs to return frequently and feel like valued family members. We hope you find us living up to our motto, ‘Florida’s Friendliest RV Resort’.
Because we are an Ownership Community, you may find some differences between us and the typical rental campground. We think overall, you will value these differences:
· Mostly larger lots – each individually owned, so therefore please respect others’ property rights and do not cut across, park on, or walk your pet on other lots, whether occupied or vacant.
· We try our best to meet renter’s needs (pull-thru vs. back-in, location, sun/shade, etc) but cannot guarantee a specific site in most cases, as owners may need to change their lot’s availability. We generally have about 1/3 (~70) of our lots available for rent.
· Every lot is full hook-up, 50/30/20amp, has a concrete patio, a paved drive, and most have concrete pads (some are stone pads). Please, no street parking. Extra vehicle parking available by clubhouses.
· We welcome travel trailers, 5th wheels, and class A, B, & C motorhomes of 21 feet or more with well maintained appearance and an RVIA sticker. Sorry, but our Bylaws do not allow tents, canvas pop-outs, truck campers, or homemade converted buses or vans. All units must be self-contained.
· We welcome well behaved pets (limit 2, no aggressive breeds) on leash and picked up after. We even have a fenced Doggie Park for unleashed play! Please try to walk pets in designated common areas.
· Boats on trailers, dollies, etc need to be in our storage area (small extra fee) if for more than just an overnight and/or if they do not fit on paved drive.
· RV/vehicle washing is permitted with permission from office provided it is infrequent and county water restrictions are not banning it at the time.
· Fires are permitted in enclosed fire pits (available on most sites) when not banned by county. No uncovered or ground fires, please.
· Propane is available at very competitive rates for your convenience. We are proud of our spacious new laundry with 18 front loading machines, reasonable fees, a TV and restroom. We do not have a camp store, but there are grocery, hardware, and Dollar General stores only 2 miles north.
· Renters are welcome & encouraged to use all our facilities, and to join in all activities (our very busy seasonal [Oct-Apr] activity schedule is posted on all bulletin boards). Our clubhouse with TV, exercise room, lending/exchange library, puzzle table (and better wi-fi connection) is open to renters during business hours (9a-5p). There is also a gas grill available for your use (to be used outside the screened pool area – ask for key). Pool hours are extended according to the season, and restrooms/showers are accessible by code. For safety, all children 12 & under must be accompanied by an adult when using restrooms. Our larger Frienship Hall is open for activities Oct-Apr.
· Our owners help us maintain exceptionally clean facilities by picking up after themselves. We find most respectful renters do the same.
We have many repeat customers and hope you will join them. Please leave us your comments so we can continue to make improvements!
